Environmental/Geotechnical Staff Engineer PSI, national geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and environmental consulting firm, seeks a highly motivated geotechnical engineer to join our local office. Our office is experiencing rapid growth and we are recruiting professionals who will embrace our vision to be the nation's most trusted provider of "Information To Build On" for clients that buy, sell, design, construct, develop, finance and manage properties. Responsibilities include: • Activities will include assisting the department with geotechnical engineering and environmental consulting • Perform environmental and geotechnical field and laboratory tests. • Classify soil/rock samples and prepare geotechnical soil boring logs • Prepare and review inspection/testing reports • Provide technical support for environmental and geotechnical activities • Interface with clients and contractors Requirements include: • BS/MS in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or Earth Science degree a plus but not required • Experience in environmental consulting and/or geotechnical engineering preferred • Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential PSI's client base offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of project types and an outstanding career opportunity with our company.
