The cost of analysis is small compared to the associated regulatory liabilities. Our laboratory maintains a comprehensive list of national, state, and local accreditations, and is involved in numerous state and local certification programs across the country. On a national level, PSI laboratories participate in the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) accreditation programs, National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), USDA accreditation and recognition programs, FDA registration, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Quality System Program. A key component to PSI’s success in these national, state, and local programs has been our ability to perform above the national average on performance and system audits.

In addition to environmental testing, the PSI Food Testing Division offers microbiological and chemistry analysis to the food manufacturing and processing industries. Our Material and Product testing laboratory offers many unique and specialized services including lead/cadmium release, activated carbon testing, metal and alloy testing, silicates, polymer, and unknown identification.
