Often, PSI evaluates materials without destroying their usefulness. This testing approach, commonly known as nondestructive examination, incorporates a wide variety of technical methods. Regardless of the type of material tested or the techniques employed, the skill of the technician is the key to effective nondestructive examination (NDE).

PSI’s technicians undergo rigorous training and must demonstrate their proficiency before they are certified to perform these tasks. PSI experts have the knowledge and equipment to perform NDEs in the field, on the project site, at the point of fabrication or manufacture, and in the laboratory.
